Rufforth Event 2007
![]()
Previously run by the Yorkshire A S, but due to two years disastrous weather conditions and subsequent financial difficulties caused by the weather they decided to withdraw from the responsibility of this event.
The LMA were committee decided to continuing with this excellent venue, thus for the first time the LMA became totally responsible for organising and running this event. Some fundamental changes were made to suit the LMA organisation structure, as we all now know, this event was a resounding success helped by some excellent weather conditions.
We were also fortunate to have a number of full size aircraft provide a short flying display, a Mustang, Fokker Triplane and a Spitfire.
The following pictures have been submitted by Tim Maggs.
