This page lists the dates of the events for the Public and LMA members. 

There are a variety of events in which members can participate. The flying events can be categorised into three sections:

• Members of the public are able to attend and watch some spectacular flying of large models. The shows are held at sites throughout the UK. Further details are contained below and on the Public Displays page of the site.

• There are several 'fly-in' events each year. These are more informal compared to the main shows. Members meet together to have some enjoyable flying in the company of other members. There is no public admittance at these events. Reports from some of these events are available here.

• Also don't forget, at the start of each year there is a seminar, this is now at Wigan Brittania Hotel, M6 junction 27, where members can show their latest creations, either finished or part-built. Another static event is held at the end of year. Last year this was at Gaydon. This year the venue has been finalised as a return to Gaydon.
  

• Finally, the year with the Annual General Meeting. This is probably the best attended AGM to be found from any of the model aircraft organisation. For a report of what happened at the 2008 AGM see  Journal.

Attention all LMA members, we are going to embrace technology where possible and provide downloads of the various camping forms and entry forms when possible. However, mindful that not all members have access to the Internet, they will only normally be released when they are printed in the Journal, this will ensure no one is disadvantaged.

 Andrew Taylor has asked me to post these dates --all members will be made very welcome at this super venue
 all the days either side of the weekends are LMA only, but on the Sundays the local affiliated clubs will be supporting the events
