Longhorsley Information
A well established show on a great site in fabulous countryside. Come and see the LMA in the North of England.
The route to the site will be signposted from the village of Longhorsley, follow the aircraft signs
and you should not get lost, for those arriving early, or in case the signs are obstructed or
removed follow the directions given below. On arrival please stop at the clubhouse where one of
our members will greet you and show you to your pitch.
From the South
Follow the Al north out of Newcastle towards Morpeth. North of Morpeth join the A697 (sign posted Wooler, Coldstream and Longhorsley). In the village of Longhorsley look out for the "Shoulder of Mutton" pub, take the first left after the pub, (signposted Netherwitton, Wingates, and "Forget me Not" caravan site). Follow the road to the caravan site where the road forks, follow the road to the left and at the next fork, turn right, (the caravan site should be visible on your right). Follow the road for approx 1 mile, at the cottage on your left (called Southward Edge) turn right, (sign posted Wingates, Netherwitton), After approx 2 miles you will reach a "T" junction, Turn left (signposted Netherwitton), Be careful if you have a long car/caravan combination as its a tight turn with a large tree on the inside of the turn. Follow this road to the next junction where you turn right (signposted Ewesley, Rothbury). Just after this junction there are a couple of quite severe dips so be careful. Follow the road up hill, past the farm on your left, the site will come into view on your left.
From the North
Travel south on the Al, take the exit signposted Morpeth, turn right at the end of the slip road, pass under the Al and join the A697, follow the directions as above. Alternatively travel south on the A697, as you enter the village of Longhorsley take the first turn to the right (signposted Netherwitton, Wingates and "Forget Me Not" caravan park). Follow directions as above.
From the West
Follow the A69 to the Denton Roundabout/Al Junction, turn left onto the Al and follow directions above.
