There are a variety of events in which members can participate. The flying events can be categorised into three types :- Public Displays in which members are encouraged to participate and members of the public can watch some spectacular flying of large models. 'Fly-In' events which are much more informal than the main shows and offer members a chance to get together and enjoy the flying. There is no public admittance at these events. Static Events such as the fabulous Gaydon event which increases in size and popularity year upon year. You will find a link at the top of this page to allow you to view Past Events.

The airfield is home to mostly microlights with training on both three-axis/fixed with SportFlight Scotland and weightshift/flexwing aircraft available through Microlight Scotland. They even teach people how to fly hovercrafts.
There is a club house where they serve teas and coffee, a 9,000sq ft hanger and a new one that will be finished this summer.Find out more »
