This picture shows Gordon Nichols next to his fabulous model of a B52.
This photograph (supplied by Tony Hooper) was taken just before its first
flight on 8th May 2004. It was a bit nose heavy, but sounds magnificent
with its eight engines.

This model is designed and built by David Matthews of Southern Ireland.
Dueto be test flown in June 2004. The model will be powered by four
RAM 750 plusturbines. The model is 10% full-size with a 5.18m wingspan, 5.27m length and is 91.5kg total weight.  It has full working lights and own designed and built retracts.  Futaba 9ZAP WCII Guidance with four 309DPS receivers and 18servos.  All wood construction with no foam used.  2-pack epoxy paint overglass cloth finish.  All insignia and marking are
airbrushed on the modelusing paint masks.

This C17 was flown for the first time in October 2003. The model was built by Colin Strauss for the Discovery TV Programme "Supermodels". This model is powered by four Jetcat 120 turbines. It is 11% scale with a 5.76m wingspan, 5.90m length and weighs 90kg.

Dave Johnson's 14% scale Vulcan was originally built in 1985 and powered
by two Zenoah 62cc engines. In 2003 it was  fitted out with two Australian
TJT turbines. The sound of two turbines running together is truly fantastic.
