Withernsea Fly-in 2001

The three day fly-in takes place each year over the early May bank holiday.

This year we had good weather with plenty of sunshine and a brisk wind off the North Sea. Many members made the trip and the photographs below give an idea of the range of flying that was seen.

Roger Bale's latest plane is a 25% scale model of the  Supermarine 224. It has a wingspan of 13" and weighs 38lb.
