LMA Theoretical Proficiency 2025

Welcome to the LMA Theoretical Proficiency Test.

There is no time limit and you will be given your results straight after finishing the test. You may read the LMA handbook and the CAA Drone & Model Aircraft Code during the test.

There are 40 multiple choice questions, you need to answer all the questions and the pass mark is 30 correct answers, 75%.

A test pass is only valid in conjunction with a current LMA membership.

Please enter your name, email address and LMA membership number to start the test.

When you pass the test we will share your details with the CAA to issue you with a CAA flier ID. If you already have a CAA flier ID you won't get a new one, but we will try. Please tick the box to give your consent for us to send the data and that you agree to the CAA privacy policy here
