About the Show
Elvington is now the LMA’s largest and most popular show of the year, attracting hundreds of visitors from around the country.
Did you know, the runway at Elvington is over 3000m (10,000ft) long!
The airfield is also home to York Air Museum! This hidden gem has some fantastic aircraft on display, from WW1 to post ware cold jets… including a Nimrod, Victor, Messerschmitt 109, Dakota, Halifax.. to name just a few. So why not make more of your weekend/ day at the show.. and visit the museum at the same time!
If you have never been to Elvington, we think 2026 is the year to give it a go! So if you haven’t already, get the weekend booked into your calendar now!

We have some exciting plans in store for our Elvington show… stay tuned to our social media pages for the latest announcements & news! Once announced, the info will be shared here to the website.
Of course we have our usual wide variety of large models in attendance, with the amazing site and airspace we have at Elvington, this always attracts the best models in the country! There are many new models/ pilots joining us for our 2026 shows, along with some old LMA classics refurbished and brought back to the show scene, so we really can’t wait to show them off to you all!
There will also be a number of ground attractions, with fun for all the family.

Trade
We will have our amazing British traders supporting the show and will also be looking to hold another one of our popular car-boot style swapmeets for the public to buy & sell any used items.
A full list of traders will be announced nearer the time, as this can change right up until the show day itself!
Camping
Camping is available on-site and we would love to build on this, with evening entertainment from musicians, food/ bar facilities open until late and some night flying fun!
