It is a prerequisite that all applicants and personnel working in the scheme hold an LMA Full Proficiency.

An Airframe Inspector can also carry out the duties of a Proficiency Examiner / Flight Test Witness.

In the ‘Model Aircraft Building / Flying / Operating Experience’ box, please explain the experience you have with model aircraft that qualifies you for the role.

In the ‘Other Relevant Experience/ Qualifications Experience’ box please add anything else that shows your ability to assess technical equipment and performance (such as MOT inspector, teacher, qualified electrician and so on).

When your application is accepted, there is a requirement to carry out annual training to maintain your approval.
