CAA Review of UK UAS Regulations Consultation, Including Remote ID
The CAA have launched a new consultation for a Review of UK UAS Regulations.
For model aircraft flyers, this introduces more detail on mandatory remote ID for all unmanned aircraft, and how model aircraft will be dealt with.
The proposal of the CAA is that model aircraft being flown by LMA members at approved sites will not need to be fitted with anything extra. Members flying elsewhere would need to fit their aircraft with remote ID equipment.

It’s quite a wordy consultation, so to help you the LMA will shortly publish guidance on what it all means and how you can best respond.
